May 5, 2005
Christine Bennett, 8:00 p.m.

Present: Kim Weedmark, Kim Sytsma, Charlie Sytsma, Bill Reid, Greg Beach, Alec MacGregor, Jenny Playfair, Gordon French, and Christine Bennett

Minutes: Kim Weedmark moved the minutes of the previous meeting be adopted as read, with one correction that the Niagara Falls region be changed to Picton for suggested bus trip locations. Seconded by Jenny Playfair. Carried.

Correspondence: Trimark investment statement. Thank you letter from Doug and Marg Cook. Lincoln Alexander award.

Business from Previous Meeting: Dance - Food list to be updated to say 2 cheese and 3 meat trays to be ordered. Letter of appreciation and thanks to Wayne Papst. Date for next year April 22, 2006. Christine to book hall, Alec to book J. Swartz.

Advisory Council Report: Jenny Playfair advised us of a brainstorming session in Kemptville that had many ideas , and an OCA Strategic Planning Session

OCA Director report: Kim Sytsma updated everyone on the events of the past month: Set aside program, CCA meetings, Atwood incinerator, traceability task force, farm market reports, age verification and Quality starts here - mandatory for Japan.
