Business from Previous Meeting:
- Farm Picnic and Tour – Charlie and Kim Sytsma –August 7, 2005, 2:00 p.m.
- Tour of Rideau Meats – August 13, 2 – 6 pm. – send a letter of apology for the poor turnout – perhaps a fall tour would have been better received
- Fair Displays Merrickville and Spencerville – recipes a big hit, good response in Merrickville, Spencerville location was poor should have been in beef building
- Bus Trip – Alec reported on a successful trip
- Northumberland tour August 27 – 13 people attended
- Merrickville Chamber of Commerce Barbeque Sept. 17, 2005 was rain plagued, October 3 rain date was better attended
- Group purchase of vet supplies discussed
New Business:
Annual meeting – Discussion on having a brunch meeting, perhaps sell tickets, mail out newsletter, or flyer in mail, date set for January 22, 2006 at 11:30 brunch, meeting at 12:30 at Prescott golf club
Discussion on how to get attendance at meetings - no requirement for quorum, phone call to remind directors
Christmas Party – December 17, 2005, 7:30 p.m. at the Bennetts – invite Doug & Marg Cook, Robin & Sheila Philips, Ed and Grace Newman, Don and Clare Thompson, Cy & Lorna Easterbrooke, Nancy Noecker.
